Gaming in the Classroom
This week students will be exploring new sites that explore educational gaming. The sites listed are simulation games that mimic real life in some way.
Fifth Grade: Students earned a Surprise Thursday in which s/he is allowed to choose a favorite site approved by me!
Fourth Grade: Students finished and printed travel brochures for MI. They also explored http://www.citycreator.com/. This site allows students the ability to plan and build her/his own city.
Third Grade: Third grade visitd http://www.citycreator.com/ as well. This site is a wonderful tie in to the state-mandated social studies objectives.
Second Grade: Students explored Microsoft Paint.
First Grade: Students explored Microsoft Paint.
